Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Arrived to Chernobyl NPP
The Minister of Ecology and Natural resources of Ukraine Oleg Proskuryakov visited Chernobyl NPP. It was on February 15, three days after the accident when the part of a light roof and panels of a wall of a machine hall of the 4th unit collapsed.
The visit purpose was to examine a situation on the partial damage of a roof and wall panels of a machine hall of the unit No. 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station.
The Minister had a meeting where the questions about the work of the commissions on investigation the situation, the organization of works on restoration of a roof and walls, planning of the actions directed on monitoring over a status of construction constructions were discussed.
