Chernobyl NPP can pass under Management of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine

The state special enterprise "Chernobyl NPP" initiates the submission to the Ministry of Fuel and Energy.

Public council of "Chernobyl NPP" supported this initiative. It is specified in the protocol of the public council of the nuclear power plant from April 24, 2014.

According to the general director of the enterprise Igor Gramotkin, transition of the Chernobyl NPP under jurisdiction of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy was initiated by the station management and now this question is considered by the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to Gramotkin, the policy of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy concerning "Energoatom" of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station will strengthen interaction between the enterprises of the nuclear sphere, having saved public funds. Besides, it will increase a quality of the management of the branch.

At present the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station is under the control of a Civil service on emergency situations to which the enterprise passed from Ministry of Fuel and Energy 15 July, 2005).
