Germany urges G7 to give €165 million for Chernobyl
The Secretary of State of the ministry of environmental protection, conservation of construction and safety of nuclear reactors of Germany Jochen Flasbert urges the countries of G7 to allocate to 165 million euros for an object construction "Sarcophagus" for the CNPP.
He declared it, having come back from Ukraine.
"It is sure that for the club of the strongest economies of the world such sum won't represent a problem", - Flasbert considers.
We remind that a few days ago the government of Germany presiding in G7 declared intention to allocate in addition 18 million euros for construction of a new sarcophagus on the Chernobyl NPP - for 4,5 million euros for works on sanitation for power plants during the period from 2016 to 2019.
